Now that the 2014 Hall of Fame induction class is complete with the nominations of Mike Modano, Peter Forsberg, Dominik Hasek and Rob Blake, it is time to look ahead to next year's class and hopefully one man will stop getting the snub and finally get what he deserves. Chris Osgood has very much been the Rodney Dangerfield of retired NHLers. " He can’t get no respect". Not even with his three Stanley Cup rings (two as a starter), he is constantly overlooked. Granted Nik Lidstrom and Sergei Fedorov were natural choices to come before "Ozzy", but his time has come. Osgood possesses 401 career NHL wins and two Jennings trophies, to go along with a goal he scored in the 1996 season. All these things considered, it is time that this great goaltender get the respect he deserves from the Hall of Fame. Passing over Osgood next season would simply be a travesty.
