The Edmonton Oilers look like they will be giving Rexall Place a decent send off.

The Oilers unleashed an offensive onslaught on Canadian rivals the Vancouver Canucks, including a goal from the man many are hoping will be the future of the Oilers, first overall pick Connor McDavid.

It wasn't McDavid's flashiest goal of the season by any stretch, but it did show off the young man's great skills, this time his patience and game sense were on full display. While everyone else has seemingly given up on the play, McDavid kept looking for the puck, and found it, eventually burying it in an open net to give his Oilers a big 3-0 lead.
