The Vancouver Canucks were dominant against the Flames last night. Since the Flames couldn't get much done on the scoreboard, they decided to try to even things up by mixing it up. The Canucks got tired of Michael Ferland running around and showed they were not going to back down. With 1:17 left in the third period, all 5 players from both teams got into it. Brad Richardson put a beating on Matt Stajan. Shawn Matthias grabbed Ferland after he tried to go after Dan Hamhuis and during all of this Derek Dorsett dropped the gloves with Deryk Engelland. Hamhuis even tried to give Dorsett a hand with Engelland but Dorsett didn't need it. Pretty much everyone received game misconducts and were tossed from the game. Was this a dirty tactic by the Flames? If it was, the Canucks showed they aren't going to back down from a fight. Here is a video of all the craziness:
