Another Canuck might be getting a call from the NHL player safety department. Jannik Hansen caught forward Tommy Wingels with a hit to the head tonight during the game against the Sharks. Hansen was given a two minute penalty for illegal check to the

Another Canuck might be getting a call from the NHL player safety department. Jannik Hansen caught forward Tommy Wingels with a hit to the head tonight during the game against the Sharks. Hansen was given a two minute penalty for illegal check to the head. As you can see in the video, Hansen's hit is mostly to the head of Wingels who went down and didn't seem to feel to good. He did return to the game. This is unfortunately not the first time Hansen has been in trouble for a check to the head. He had a one game suspension back in 2013 when he had hit Marian Hossa in the head.
