Datsyuk scores first of the season (VIDEO)

Although the Red Wings lost at the hands of the Philadelphia Flyers last night by a score of 4-2, Pavel Datsyuk looks to be in mid- season form already. Datsyuk was forced to miss the first two weeks of the NHL season after separating his shoulder in the Wings' very first pre-season game. After having his first goal of the year called back against Montreal, Datsyuk finally got his name on the scoresheet last night. Darren Helm makes a nice play to keep the puck in the Flyers zone, and then feeds Datsyuk right in front of Flyers goalie Ray Emery. Datsyuk finishes the play like only he can.
