On this day 26 years ago Lemieux set a record that will never be matched! (VIDEO)

There have been several 5 goal games by an individual player in the NHL's history, 60 in fact, but none quite like this one from Super Mario. On this day in 1988 Mario and the Penguins were taking on the New Jersey Devils, and Super MArio had himself another super performance, this one however was unique. Mario didn't just score 5 goals, he scored one at even strength, one on the power play, one short handed, one on a penalty shot, and finally one on an empty net. 5 goals scored in different fashion, something no other player has ever done, a record that likely won't ever be matched again.
