What a difference a coach makes! (VIDEO)

It feels like night and day, and it seems like a lifetime ago since John Tortorella was head coach of the Vancouver Canucks. A prime example of how severely a coach can impact a franchise is the play of the Sedin twins. Both are just shy of being a point a game player this year a far cry from their performances last year, Henrik has just 50 points in 70 games, Daniel had 57 in 73 games. Does Willie Desjardins deserve all of the credit? Probably not, but he certainly deserves at least part of it, Daniel even said as much when he spoke to the Edmonton Sun regarding Desjardins' visit to Sweden this year.

"That showed that he cares about his players, and he wants us to do really well. He wants to get a head start on everything. He wanted to know what kind of people we were and all that, it was neat. That’s the first time it happened to us. I was a bit surprised, but it was good. I think his communication is top notch. I think that’s why we like him here and that’s why it’s been successful. He listen to his players."
