When you play for the most popular franchise in hockey, there is no doubt that every action you complete on the ice gets put under a microscope. Dion Phaneuf is no different. With the Leafs captain due to make just under 7 million dollars this season, he seems to draw the most criticism of any other player on the roster. It should be said that if you watch enough of the good defenceman in the league, they get torched frequently. It comes with the territory.
