This was not what the Jets needed. Mathieu Perreault left the game against the Hawks game after taking a nasty cross check from Daniel Carcillo. It happened with just under 10 seconds left in the second period. Perreault was battling with Duncan Keith for a loose puck when Carcillo came from behind and gave the dirty cross check to the left arm of Perreault. Perreault went down holding his arm right away and was holding it the whole time he left the ice. Lets' hope there is no break, we will find out more tomorrow when tests can be done. This is terrible timing, there is no player on more of a tear right now than Perreault. Hopefully the NHL will come down hard on Carcillo. Here is the hit, courtesy of Comcast: [iframe id=""]
