Rangers defenseman John Moore was assessed a match penalty for a dangerous elbow to the head of Wild forward Erik Haula. It was the second New York Ranger to get booted from this game. Which means they can both be suspended. A match penalty brings with it an automatic review from the Department of Player Safety. John Moore is a repeat offender which likely means severe discipline is coming. Haula had to be helped to the locker room and did not return for the start of the third period.
