A disgusting cheap shot (VIDEO)

AHL pugilist and former NHL goon Trevor Gillies is in hot water again after slamming Sabres prospect William Carrier’s head into the ice after a fight in last night’s tilt between the Rochester Americans and Adirondack Flames. Carrier seemingly wants no part of Gillies and goes to the ice to protect himself from the blows. Gillies yanks Carrier up only to put him face first into the ice. This reprehensible act will surely earn Gillies a long and well deserved suspension. Gillies is a repeat offender having served a 10 game suspension for a vicious hit to the head of Penguins Cal Clutterbuck. I for one hope we never see this thug in hockey again, if you can’t control your impulses on the ice you don’t deserve to play.
