The Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens both fielded their rosters at as close to full strength as possible on Monday evening, and it didn't take long for things to heat up.
Roughly three quarters of the way through the first period Toronto Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman dropped the gloves with Montreal Canadiens forward Grendan Gallagher in a short and rather one-sided fight.
Despite dropping the gloves it became rather apparent that Gallagher didn't really want any part of Hyman, at least not while Hyman seemingly had the advantage in the match up.
The result was Hyman throwing the only significant punches of the fight, before eventually wrestling Gallagher to the ground.
