Detroit scored 4 goals in less than 10 minutes in the first period and that was pretty much all that was needed to get past the defending stanley cup champs. Pavel Datsyuk and Gustav Nyquist each had two goals and an assist in the win. Pavel Datsyuk might have missed the first few games but he is ripping it up as of late. He has 4 goals and 4 assists in the 5 games he has played so far. Since he has been back, the Red Wings have 7 points of a possible 10. He is definitely one of the leaders of the team and as he goes, so do the wings. Detroit's power play was clicking and i think the Kings penalty killers are still dizzy from all the quick passes Detroit were making. Their two power play goals were things of beauty. Detroit is starting to roll and this is bad news for the Buffalo Sabres who Detroit will face Sunday. [iframe id="" mode="normal"]
