People have lined up to see him play and get his autograph for well over a year, so you can say he is used to constant fame by this point. Still, what happened in Edmonton for McDavid's first public practice as an Oiler is phenomenal. The last decade has been tough for Oilers fans, so you can understand their anticipation. Still, it is only the first practice of development camp folks! #97 has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to perform right away in the NHL.
