What an incredible start to an NHL career.
He may not be generating nearly as many headlines as some other young players in the National Hockey League, but there's no doubting that Buffalo Sabres forward Jack Eichel has been one of the best players in the NHL this season.
On Tuesday night Eichel record the 100th point of his NHL career in just his 127th game in the league, a feat that is made even more impressive when you consider that he plays on a team that has at timed struggled.
The goal came quickly off a faceoff roughly midway through the second period, and came off a quick release by Eichel in the slot, a shot that beat Flyers veteran goaltender Steve Mason.
It was Eichel's second point of the game this evening and has him just now two points shy of a point per game pace this season.
