It feels like he didn’t care if he was getting caught..
Evgeny Kuznetsov has been playing for Ufa Salavat Yulayev in the KHL, but his latest move has caught attention around the world.
A video of Kuznetsov has gone viral ever since the KHL suspended him one game one game for making an “obscene gesture” towards Daniel Sprong.
It’s quite easy from watching the video down below what Kuznetsov was attempting to convey to Sprong with the hand gesture.
Now playing for Yekaterinburg Automobilist, Sprong is playing his first season in Europe after spending the past 10 seasons playing 374 NHL games for a total of seven different clubs, including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, Washington Capitals, Seattle Kraken, Detroit Red Wings, Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils. He recorded 87 goals and 166 points in his shorter than expected NHL career. He was selected in the second round, 46th overall by Pittsburgh in 2015.
Many fans believe Sprong probably say something just as inappropriate to Kuznetsov to deserve the obscene gesture. But Kuznetsov is the only one getting suspended.
