It was one of the longest reviews of the National Hockey League season, perhaps one of the longest we've ever seen, and at the end of it all the majority of fans still seem to believe the NHL officials made the wrong call.

Roughly midway through the second period of the Friday night match up between the Buffalo Sabres and Vancouver Canucks, Canucks star forward Daniel Sedin recorded the go ahead goal for his team, but the goal was challenged.

Sabres head coach Phil Hously challenged the goal due to what he felt was an offside as Jake Virtanen entered the Sabres zone, and video replay appeared to support his decision.

Instead the NHL officials upheld the ruling on the play and the Buffalo Sabres, and Housley himself, were left with their mouths agape in disbelief.
