FIGHT VIDEO: Red Wings vs Avalanche rivalry rekindled less than 1 minute into the game!

The Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings rivalry took almost no time to erupt tonight. Less then one minute into the first period the Red Wings Jonathan Ericsson got into the face of Nathan MacKinnon. MacKinnon not a player known for fighting, stood his ground refused to be bullied around and dropped the gloves with Ericsson. It was a pretty gutsy move by MacKinnon but he was clearly outsized by the much bigger Ericsson and was quickly muscled to the ground. You can see the incident here courtesy of the NHL.
