David Pastrnak will make his Boston Bruins preseason debut tonight against the New York Islanders. The B’s 2014 first-round draft pick has been medically cleared after missing the first five preseason games and several practices because of a shoulder injury suffered on the third day of training camp. The 18-year-old right winger had practiced several times this week, although his status remained unclear until today. Bruins Head Coach Claud Julien stated yesterday: “Sometimes, a guy doesn’t have a lot of opportunities to showcase what he can do, and unfortunately for David, that’s the case” The Kid will have his first opportunity tonight; let’s see what he does with it.
