Flames take it to the Canadiens (Video)

The Calgary Flames got their revenge on the Habs who beat them in the shootout 2 games ago. Carey Price pretty much stole the two points from the Flames that game, but tonight, Calgary was not going to let that happen. They took a new game plan into Montreal and it worked. Get traffic in front of Price. The first three goals were direct results of this, Josh Jooris scored on a rebound, Markus Granlund scored when a shot deflected of his skate while he was crashing the Habs net and Curtis Glencross scored on a nice tip off a shot from the point. The Flames carried the momentum most of the game while Montreal got into penalty trouble, Calgary only scored one power play goal but they controlled the puck most of the time and had many shots. The Flames out shot the Habs 19-4 in the first period. The Flames took their foot off the pedal in the third mustering only 6 shots but still scored on 3 of them. Even with all the injuries to the Flames, they were solid tonight, they made the Habs who were quite flat look pretty bad at home, the boo birds were even out at certain periods during the game.
