After scoring 4 goals in the third against the Oilers to come from behind and win 4-2, the Flames homestand continues tonight. This is the beginning of a very important period of games. The Flames currently hold the last wild card spot with a 3 point lead over the Los Angeles Kings. Tonight they play the Jets who have a 3 point lead on the Flames. In their next 3 games after tonight, they play the Sharks twice who are also 3 points ahead of them in the West and then the Pittsburgh Penguins who are doing very well in the East. So not an easy task, followed by games against the Kings and Canucks. The Flames are presently tied with the Canucks in points. So to say this stretch of games is important would be an understatement. Let's first of all look to continue this homestand tonight with a win. Go Flames Go!
