Once a Flyer, always a Flyer. (VIDEO)

Rarely was there a Philadelphia Flyers with a much grit and charisma as Scott Hartnell. Friday night will mark the first time Hartnell will return to Wells Fargo Center as a member of the Columbus Blue Jackets. It will no doubt be an emotional return as Hartnell did have his detractors, but remained a fan favourite among Flyers nation. His 7 seasons in Philly left us all with memories not soon forgotten. Hartnell was integral to the Flyers Stanley Cup run in 2010, with 17 points in 23 games and a heroic performance in the Game 7 comeback against Boston. Hartsy loved this city and the fans of the team. No doubt he will receive a hero's tonight, but once the puck drops he's just another guy the Flyers have to beat.
