Former AHL forward scores one of the best shootout goals ever.

A former American Hockey League forward has just drawn a great deal of attention to himself with an incredible shootout goal.

In a recent report from TSN's Bardown, a shootout goal from 34-year-old left winger David Spina that took place in the SM-ligga, a league in Finland, was put on full display, and it's a beauty to say the least.

Spina channeled his inner Pavel Datsyuk to put a nasty move on the goaltender, but it appeared he made the move to late and wasn't going to be able to finish it off with a goal.

Spina instead improvised, and sent the puck way high up into the air, above and behind the netminder for one of the most ridiculous shootout goals we've had the chance to see in a league time.
