Former NHLer gets knocked out in his return to the KHL!

This summer after failing to work out a deal with his National Hockey League team the Dallas Stars, Valeri Nichushkin made the deicision to return to the Kontinental Hockey League rather than sit out as a restricted free agent, but that may be a decision he regrets.

Nichushkin tried to have a big impact in his return to the KHL but instead in his 12th game back in the league he was the one receiving a big impact in the form of an uppercut that absolutely laid him out on his back, a fall that could have been much worse were it not for his opponent holding him up by his jersey.

It was a nice show of mercy from Evgeny Artyukhin although that show of mercy only came after he had landed several punches on his opponent including the knock out blow which you can see below.
