GOALTENDER nets his first goal of his career

Let’s admit it, GOALIE GOAL is not something you often see so when it happens, better not miss it.

Jonas Gustavsson played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Detroit Red Wings, the Boston Bruins and lately for the Edmonton Oilers. Even though he’s not having a great season and he’s playing for the Oilers AHL team, he accomplished something rare on his last game.

Last night as the San Diego Gulls were facing the Bakersfield Condors and netminder Jonas Gustavsson nets his first goal of his career after an errant pass went all the way back into the empty net.

The American Hockey league says that Gustavsson is the 12th goalie in league history to be credited with a goal.
