When the Detroit Red Wings drafted Gustav Nyquist 121st overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, they knew they had a potential impact player in the teams future. Even so, the Wings' could not have expected that Nyquist would develop so quickly. Nyquist is carrying on the tradition of great Swedish Red Wings and making a huge difference game in, game out for the team. In 112 games played, Nyquist has 40 goals and 32 assists, for 72 poins and is a +19 for a career. He is entertaining to watch and has found a way to be clutch when he has to be. Everybody's jumping on the "Gus Bus".
