Happy Birthday Tie Domi! (VIDEO)

Today we celebrate the the birth of a Maple Leafs legend, that man is none other than Tie Domi (45). Domi was truly a one of a kind player, the "stuff" he was crafted from will never be seen again. Never has there been a hockey player who's stature mattered less, as Domi would not only ever run from a fight, but relish in the punishment he dished out nightly. Despite his 5'10/213lbs frame, Domi played with the heart and grit of a man twice his size. His astounding 3515 penalty minutes for a career ranks third all time and first among any Maple Leaf in history. If anyone attempted to take a run at a Leafs' star player, there was no doubt who would step in to even the odds. The countless memories he left us are the stuff of legend. If there was one man who bled blue and white, it was Tie Domi. How privileged we were to witness his greatness. This is why we love him. Happy Birthday Tie!
