From the moment Allan MacInnis made his NHL debut with the Flames on December 30, 1981, against the Boston Bruins, the Calgary Flames had to know they had someone special. He was drafted in the first round by the Flames in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft, and he went on to be selected to 13 All-Star games. He also won the Conn Smythe trophy as the most valuable player in the playoffs in 1989. That just so happened to be the same year the Flames captured the Stanley Cup. In 1416 career games MacInnis scored 340 times and added 934 assists for 1274 points in a career. His booming slapshot was the kind of thing that builds legends in the game. Here are some of MacInnis's best moments. Enjoy!
