Hawks D-man with first career goal (Video)

The Hawks defense have in been chipping regularly, so we figured it would come soon and it came tonight. Trevor van Riemsdyk has scored his first career NHL goal. Jonathan Toews won the faceoff so cleanly that it went off the boards and just sat on a tee for van Riemsdyk to rip it home. And that he did. TVR scored the goal in his 14th NHL game. It was a great night for the van Riemsdyk family, Trevor's brother James who plays for the Leafs also scored tonight. So I am sure they will be talking later on tonight about that feat. I have a feeling the parents won't mind for it to happen often. Congrats Trevor! Here is the goal:
