Hawks rookie has impressive first shift (Video)

That is definitely one way to make an impression. Especially on your first NHL shift. Ryan Hartman destroyed Dainius Zubrus with a huge shoulder check to the chest. It was a clean hit and it sent Zubrus' helmet flying. Zubrus can put some blame on his defenseman for getting lit up since he was looking back to receive a slow pass and that was when the Hartman truck hit him. It was a thing of beauty and is a hit that has you jumping out of your seat to cheer. Considering it was his first career hit, that was one hell of a way to get recognized.
