The Chicago Blackhawks are hoping that this trend stops soon. This has not been the first time they have been frustrated by a hot goalie. Tonight it was James Reimer who got the better of them. The Hawks once again had over 40 shots (47 this time) but were only able to score two power play goals. The Hawks had 26 shos in the third, only one less than they gave up all game but unfortunately they could not put one past Reimer to tie the game. Chicago dominated the third and were in the Toronto zone for pretty much the last 1:30 of the game and kept peppering Reimer with shots. Shaw was screening as best as he could but it wasn't meant to be. On the positive note, Corey Crawford was back in between the pipes for Chicago. Crawford made 24 saves in the game. Brad Richards also scored his first of the season. The Hawks will have to hit the reset button real quick as they take on the Winnipeg Jets tomorrow night at the Madhouse.
