Heavyweights Haley and Nolan trade big shots in a great scrap.

While the match up between the Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers may not have been a thriller for the average hockey fan, the team's are after all both at or near the National Hockey League's basement, it did provided some excitement.

Part of that excitement came courtesy of Sabres center Jordan Nolan and Panthers forward Michael Haley when the two men dropped the gloves midway through the third period.

Both men traded heavy blows, really winding up on their punches, but Nolan seemed to get the better of Haley with some devastating uppercuts that looked like they may have hurt the 31-year-old Panthers veteran.

After a violent exchange the fight came to a stand still as it became clear that Haley was trying to drag Nolan down while avoiding more damage to his face.
