By now you have all probably heard about Liam Fitzgerald, an incredibly adorable Bruins fan from Massachusetts. He became famous overnight after a video of the smiling boy fist-bumping every member of his favorite team as they came off the ice after pre-game warmups was released. This adorable little guy warmed our hearts. He has an incredible story as Liam was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and a growth deficiency that requires regular injections of growth hormone until the age of 18 years old, Liam Fitzgerald was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when he was just four years old. This kid is a fighter and a true inspiration. Could there ever be a better candidate for the 2014 USA Today Sports Fan of the Year?
