The Bruins were victorious in their season opener last night against the Philadelphia Flyers on a late goal by Chris Kelly. The final score 2-1. The Bruins outshot the Flyers 33-20, and had the majority of scoring chances throughout the game. This game was not as close as the score might indicate as the Flyers Steve Mason stood on his head and kept the game tied until 18:09 of the third when Kelly snuck one by the Flyers goaltender.
