Huge effort from Kane pays off in a big way! (VIDEO)

With 5 minutes already gone in the third period, and the Blackhawks up 3-1 it seemed almost inevitable that Chicago was going to walk away with a win over the St. Louis Blues. I guess Patrick Kane just wanted to make extra sure the game was completely out of reach for the Blues. Kane took a great feed from Kris Versteeg and made a heroic effort to fight off a Blue's defenseman and get somewhat of a breakaway. Kane then used a great move to fool Blues goaltender Jake Allen, and you can see it right here courtesy of the NHL.
