As he watches Filip Forsberg blossom into one of the very best forwards in the National Hockey League it's not hard to imagine why Brian MacLellan, the Washington Capitals General Manager, is feeling a little regret. In a rare moment MacLellan spoke to Adam Vingan of NHL.com and actually admitted that he wish he could have that trade back. It was very refreshign to see a General Manager be so open and honest especially when it's so obviously the truth.
"I think (Forsberg) has played well," MacLellan told Adam Vingan of NHL.com. "Obviously, he's one of the leading candidates for the Calder Trophy. If you're asking if I would like to do a do-over? Yeah, sure."
Gotta feel for MacLellan though, especially when you see him doing stuff like this:
