This young man likely made a few new fans this evening.

The Toronto Maple Leafs appeared to have lost 24-year-old forward Zach Hyman who was in considerable pain after blocking a shot from San Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns. Hyman needed help from his teammates to get off the ice and it looked like he might be done for the evening, if not longer, but thankfully that wasn't the case.

First here's a look at the initial injury.


Hyman would come back just minutes later, and not only did he return to the ice but he recorded a goal off a deflection from an Auston Matthews shot to give his team the 1-0 lead.
