Montreal’s young forward turned a brief slip into a viral moment fans can’t stop talking about
Montreal Canadiens young forward Ivan Demidov is certainly getting a better handle of the English language, especially when it comes to the swear words.
On Tuesday night, during the second intermission of the Habs’ game against the visiting Florida Panthers at the Bell Center, Demidov kicked off the interview by saying “Ah, F**k” and then immediately apologizing with a smirk.
Watch it here:
The clip went viral on social media, with former NHLer and co-host of the Spittin Chiclets Ryan Whitney calling it A+, even though Demidov seemed shook by it for the reminder of the interview.
But fans are loving how candid he is.
The interview took place on the TSN broadcast as the Canadiens were trailing behind 2-1 against the Panthers with just a period left to take back control and show what kind of playoff team they can be.
I am hoping Demidov’s fight and passion, and even the swear words, can help the team get back on top and look like the contender they have appeared capable of being last month.
