The ageless wonder is at it again.
Although he is just a few short days away from his 49th birthday and in spite of the fact that we are in the middle of a global pandemic, you just knew that National Hockey League legend Jaromir Jagr would find a way to play hockey once again this season. Much like the NHL here in North America, some leagues in Europe have opened up for the 2020 - 2021 season and among those teams is Jagr's own Rytiri Kladno.
On Saturday Jagr recorded his first goal of the season and surprisingly enough he had help from another NHLer in the former of Tomas Plekanec. Plekanec assisted on the play, a one timer from Jagr from the faceoff circle that looked very much like the kind of goal that you would expect to see from a player like Alex Ovechkin in the NHL.
Both Jagr and Plekanec, a long time member of the Montreal Canadiens, have left their NHL days behind them, but it's nice to see these older veterans still showing off their skills and inspiring another generation of young players to fall in love with the sport of hockey.
