Jimmy Howard stands tall as Wings dominate Columbus! (VIDEO)

Despite the fact that the Wings dominated on the scoreboard last night it took some early heroics from often criticized Wings goalie Jimmy Howard to keep them in the game. Howard didn't exactly get a ton of help early and had to bail his team out more than once to keep his shut out performance alive. One turn over in particular mid way through the first period was just an unforgivable giveaway in the Red Wings own zone, but again Howard was there to shut the door. Columbus isn't exactly a powerhouse in the NHL, but it was a big win for the Wings last night who were in need of some momentum. You can see the full video highlights here courtesy of the NHL.
