This is undoubtedly one of the best hits we've had in the playoffs thus far.
Joanthan Drouin has been terrific since stepping back in to the Lightning roster, but on Tuesday night he got caught being greedy as he tried to cross in to New York Islander territory in the opening minutes of the games second period.
Drouin was met by a massive hit from Islanders defenseman Thomas Hickey almost immediately after crossing the blue line, a punishing but perfectly clean hit. The impact of the hit was violent enough to send both men down to the ice, but to Drouin's credit he bounced back up nearly as quickly as Hickey did.
