It's certainly hard to blame Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray for this one.
With the Ottawa senators desperately needing some hope in the third period, they got it courtesy of their captain as well as several very fortunate bounces in the Senators favor.
After Erik Karlsson fired off the initial point shot the puck went on to deflect several times, striking the stick of Matt Hoffman, potentially the stick of Evgeni Malkin and the skate of Tom Pyatt all before going into the net behind Murray.
There's no way Murray could have been expected to track all that movement in the blink of an eye.
