Kopitar opens the scoring on a penalty shot (Video)

Anze Kopitar got the LA Kings off on the right foot by scoring on a penalty shot less than 10 minutes into the first period against Frederik Andersen of the rival Anaheim Ducks. Kopitar received a nice pass from Marian Gaborik and then proceeded to split the Anaheim defenders and got in all alone versus Andersen when he was then hooked by Sami Vatanen which caused him to lose the puck. The referee right away signaled for a penalty shot. Kopitar went in, made a move to the backhand and slid it between Andersen's pads to give the Kings a 1-0 lead. Let's keep it going boys!
