The latest update on Matt Stajan. (VIDEO)

The results are in for Matt Stajan and unfortunately the news is not good. Stajan suffered an injury following a knee on knee collision with Canadians Jarred Tinordi two nights ago. He has now been placed on IR and is expected to miss around six weeks, Markus Granlund will be the likely call up to replace Stajan. Stajan was off to a slow start this seaso nwith just 1 goal and 1 assists in 11 games, but nonetheless it's never good to lose a starter.
