Did the Leafs deliberately snub their fans last night?

The Leafs appeared to have snubbed their fans at the Air Canada Center after a 5-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. After the game the team refused to do their usual center ice salute to the fans, in fact some have suggested that certain players on the team instructed others to go straight to the locker room. Now obviously this is just speculation, there's no real way of knowing if this is true or false, but if it is true, it's a sign of poor leadership in the locker room.
