It's been a disastrous season for the Leafs, and tonight the team could set a new record for futility. The Leafs who are currently on a 0-9-1 stretch currently sit tied for the worst losing streak in the team's history. Ironically the last such streak dates back to their last Stanley Cup Championship team in 1967. There's little to no chance of that happening this season. If the Leafs lose again, this years team will be in sole possession of the longest losing streak in the franchises near 100 year history. The Leafs aren't exactly facing off against an NHL powerhouse however, they take on the New Jersey Devils. Only time will tell if they can avoid turning this horrific season, into a historically bad one.
