Leafs are successful in season openers vs. Canadiens (Video)

As we are only hours away from the first puck drop of the season there is on thing you should know before gametime. The Leafs have the Canadiens number in season openers. In fact, the Leafs have beat the Habs in their last four season openers, in convincing fashion. You have to look back all the way to 2009 to find the last time the Canadiens beat the Leafs in their opening game. That was a 4-3 loss in overtime. Although this bodes well for Toronto, it should be noted the Canadien took the season series last year winning 3 of 5 against our Leafs. Here are highlights from last years season opener:
