For fans of National Hockey League Hall of Fame player Eric Lindros, the end of his career was extremely frustrating but they weren't the only ones frustrated.

In a very open and honest interview, with the guys from Sportsnet 590 The Fan's Hockey Central at Noon, Lindros opened up about how the game wasn't very much fun for him either in the later stages of his career. Lindros openly admitted that he couldn't play at his former level and that he genuinely felt concern about cutting through the middle of the ice, a move that so often led to him eat monster hits.

He also touched on a possible return to hockey when asked and while his answer may be disappointing to many fans the reason he gives for not wanting to return to the game in any capacity is not only an understandable one, but it's also something to be admired.

Here's the interview.
