Coach Mike Yeo decided it was time to tweak the lines in search of more scoring. “We’re not scoring goals, it’s as simple as that.” Coach Yeo knows the chances are there, the team just isn't capitalizing on them. "we’re creating chances, but we’re not finishing." The new lines are as follows: Parise–Granlund–Pominville Vanek–Koivu–Coyle Fontaine–Haula–Niederreiter Cooke–Carter–Zucker/Brodziak The main change was putting Charlie Coyle with Mikko Koivu and Thomas Vanek. Koivu and Coyle have played together in the past and it worked out well. “Let’s see if that can be a permanent solution,” Yeo said. “The one thing that excites us is the way that Charlie’s skating right now. His speed is noticeable. It’s been a real factor out there. We think that adding that element to that line can really help.” Look to see if the line changes work out on Thursday, when the Wild finally get back on the ice at home against the Arizona Coyotes. This will be the last week where the Wild play only one weekday game per week. The Wild are host to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, then head on the road to play 3 games in 4 night with the 3rd game being back in Minny versus the Sharks. [iframe id="" mode="normal"]
