Linesman left writhing in pain after getting nailed by a shot.

This one looks rather painful.

During the Wednesday night match up between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Minnesota Wild, linesman Steve Miller was struck by a hard slap shot that took him out of the game, and understandably so.

The slap shot hit Miller at close range and smashed directly into his knee cap leaving the poor guy writhing on the ice in pain, his knee very likely badly damaged from such an impact.

No update at this time but we hope he's going to be ok.
